This position is responsible for helping keep our fleet and equipment operating safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime.Job Type<ul><li>Part-Time</li><li>Flexible Schedule</li><li>Hourly Position</li></ul>Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.</li><li>Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.</li><li>Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks, trailers, forklifts, generators, compressors, and other shop equipment.</li><li>Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety and operational concerns.</li><li>Coordinate and track maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles.</li><li>Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.</li><li>Assist with equipment setup, repairs, and modifications.</li><li>Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.</li><li>Communicate equipment needs and repair recommendations to management.</li><li>Assist with emergency repairs as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a mechanic, diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or equipment technician preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.</li><li>Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs independently.</li><li>Familiarity with trailers, small engines, and construction equipment preferred.</li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.</li><li>Valid driver's license required.</li><li>Ability to work safely and follow company policies.</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Fleet maintenance</li><li>Trailer repairs</li><li>Hydraulic systems</li><li>Electrical troubleshooting</li><li>Small engine repair</li><li>Forklift maintenance</li><li>Welding and fabrication experience is a plus</li></ul>Performance Expectations<ul><li>Maintain fleet reliability and reduce downtime.</li><li>Complete scheduled maintenance on time.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records.</li><li>Promote a safe and organized shop environment.</li><li>Identify issues before they become costly repairs.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Flexible work schedule</li><li>Competitive hourly pay based on experience</li><li>Opportunity for additional hours as workload increases</li></ul>Reports ToOperations Manager / Shop ManagerPay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
