Waxing, Reception Duties & Guest
<br>Experience
<br>Waxologists are responsible for both service execution and contributing to the overall guest
<br>experience within the salon.
<br><br>
<b>Responsibilities include:</b><br>
<ul>
<li>Perform all Radiant Waxing services effectively and efficiently.</li>
<li>Charge accurately for all services performed. No services or add-ons may be provided</li>
</ul>
free of charge without prior management approval.
<br><ul>
<li>Update all spreadsheets requested by management on a daily basis and ensure entries</li>
</ul>
are accurate and completed on time.
<br><ul>
<li>Respond promptly to Trulark messages and guest inquiries.</li>
<li>Answer phones with a positive and upbeat attitude.</li>
<li>Acknowledge guests warmly, greeting them with a smile and offering a handshake to</li>
</ul>
new guests.
<br><ul>
<li>Communicate clearly with coworkers regarding schedule updates and guest requests.</li>
<li>Return phone messages in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Offer guests water and use of the restroom upon arrival.</li>
<li>Review guest intake forms to verify there are no contraindications prior to service.</li>
<li>Escort guests to their treatment suite.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment in treatment rooms and</li>

<li>Contributing ideas during marketing brainstorming sessions.</li>

Performance Goals & Sales
<br>Waxologists are expected to work toward both individual and team performance goals,

Professional Standards & Policies
<br>Phone & Personal Device Use

<li>Personal phone use should be limited while on the salon floor and must never interfere</li>
</ul>
with guest service or team responsibilities.
<br><ul>
<li>Phones should not be used during guest interactions or services unless required for</li>
</ul>
work purposes.
<br><br>
Pricing & Discounts
<br><ul>
<li>Waxologists may not discount services or products unless specifically authorized by</li>
</ul>
management.
<br><ul>
<li>All services must be properly entered and charged through the POS system.</li>
<li>Complimentary services, discounts, or adjustments require prior management</li>
</ul>
approval.
<br>Client Relationships
<br><ul>
<li>Waxologists may not solicit salon guests for private services outside of the business.</li>
<li>All clients serviced through the salon are considered salon clientele.</li>
</ul>
Sanitation & Safety
<br><ul>
<li>All Waxologists must follow state board sanitation regulations and company hygiene</li>
</ul>
standards.
<br><ul>
<li>Treatment rooms must be sanitized between every guest.</li>
<li>Workstations and common areas must remain clean, organized, and properly stocked.</li>
</ul>
Attendance & Communication
<br><ul>
<li>Reliable attendance is required.</li>
<li>If a Waxologist cannot attend a scheduled shift, management must be notified as early</li>
</ul>
as possible.
<br><ul>
<li>Waxologists are expected to respond to management communication in a timely</li>
</ul>
manner.
<br>Professional Conduct
<br><ul>
<li>Waxologists must maintain professional conduct with guests and coworkers at all</li>
</ul>
times.
<br><ul>
<li>Gossip, negativity, or disruptive behavior that affects the team environment or guest</li>
</ul>
experience is not acceptable.
<br><br>
Book Management Rules
<br><br>
Waxologists are responsible for managing their appointment books efficiently and professionally.
<br><br>
<b>Responsibilities include:</b><br>
<ul>
<li>Schedule management: Keep your appointment book accurate and up-to-date at all</li>
</ul>
times.
<br><ul>
<li>Shrink and combine services: Optimize your schedule by combining or shrinking</li>
</ul>
services when appropriate, to maximize efficiency and revenue.
<br><ul>
<li>Rebooking: Actively rebook every guest before they leave to maintain client retention</li>
</ul>
and meet salon goals.
<br><ul>
<li>Handling cancellations and no-shows: Follow salon protocol for cancellations and no-</li>
</ul>
shows, including notifying management promptly.
<br><ul>
<li>Time management: Arrive prepared for each appointment, ensuring no delays for guests</li>
</ul>
or coworkers.
<br><ul>
<li>Communication: Inform management of any scheduling conflicts or changes in a timely</li>
</ul>
manner.
<br><ul>
<li>Tracking metrics: Maintain daily, accurate records of services, rebooks, and add-ons in</li>
</ul>
spreadsheets or salon software as requested by management.

Training & Development
<br>All Waxologists are required to participate in ongoing training to maintain service standards.

checks.
