The Value Stream Supervisor is responsible for hiring, training, developing direct reports and executing goals.
This position reports to the Value Stream Manager and is a part of the Thick Film Value Stream located in New Brighton, MN and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:<ul><li>
Support achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity targets through effective and efficient Daily Management execution and supports implementation of Operations Strategy deployment.</li><li>
Effectively and efficiently Problem Solve using the formalized Danaher Problem Solving Process.</li><li>
Build a Winning Team by recruiting, hiring, training and developing, direct reports, including recommendations for direct labor staffing requirements in accordance with capacity models for current and future KPI success.</li><li>
Support the utilization of DBS tools &amp; lean concepts to improve manufacturability, productivity, yields, cost, process variation and customer quality. Focus on reducing process variation, establishing and ensuring adherence to Standard Work, Work Instructions and Cycle Count discrepancy root cause investigation and countermeasure development.</li><li>
Manage associate performance including timecard review and approval, overtime reduction, year-over-year improvement in employee engagement survey results, communication for full-company alignment, and cross-training plan development, execution, communication, and matrix updating.</li></ul>
The essential requirements of the job include:<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>
Previous leadership experience</li></ul>
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:<ul><li>
Lean methodologies</li><li>
Visual daily management and process improvement</li></ul>

The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
