Unarmed Overnight Hotel Security OfficerResponsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and quiet environment for hotel guests, staff, and property during overnight hours (typically 11 PM &ndash; 7 AM). Patrol &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Conduct routine patrols of hallways, parking lots, entrances, and common areas</li><li>Monitor CCTV/security cameras and alarm systems</li><li>Check for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access</li></ul>2. Access Control<ul><li>Ensure only guests and authorized personnel enter the property</li><li>Lock/unlock designated doors at scheduled times</li><li>Verify guest/vendor credentials if needed</li></ul>3. Incident Response<ul><li>Respond calmly to disturbances (noise complaints, disputes, loitering)</li><li>De-escalate situations when possible (no physical force)</li><li>Contact police/fire/EMS when necessary</li></ul>4. Reporting<ul><li>Write detailed incident reports and nightly activity logs</li><li>Document anything unusual (damage, trespassing, accidents)</li><li>Communicate issues to hotel management/front desk</li></ul>5. Customer Service<ul><li>Assist guests with directions or minor concerns</li><li>Provide a visible, professional presence</li><li>Support front desk staff if needed</li></ul>Basic Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license (required)</li><li>Strong observation and communication skills</li><li>Ability to stay awake and alert overnight</li></ul>Work Location: In person

This role manages the entire sales lifecycle&mdash;from hunting for new corporate and group business to detailing and overseeing the execution of banquet events. The ideal candidate is a proactive closer with a mastery of Opera Cloud and a passion for delivering seamless guest experiences.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Business Development: Proactively solicit, negotiate, and confirm new business through outside sales calls, site tours, and networking within the Lenexa/KC market.</li><li>Segment Management: Direct ownership of Group Room Blocks, Corporate Negotiated Rates, and Banquet/Catering revenue.</li><li>System Management: Utilize Opera Cloud to manage profiles, reservations, blocks, and guest preferences with high accuracy.</li><li>Event Detailing: Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and resumes; lead weekly BEO meetings to ensure the operations team is aligned for flawless execution.</li><li>Revenue Optimization: Work closely with the General Manager to implement pricing strategies that maximize RevPAR and food &amp; beverage margins.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience: 3+ years of Sales &amp; Catering experience in a full-service hotel environment.</li><li>Technical Skills: Must be proficient in Opera Cloud.
