Job descriptionRamana Coaching Center is seeking an experienced In-person Math and ELA part-time teacher to teach reading/writing portions for our Middle and High schoolers (6-12) after school hours between 5:00 pm- 7:00 p.m. (Hours may vary depending upon the enrollment between 8 - 20 hr a week) We provide very consistent and flexible scheduling. Tutors can expect predictable weekly pay. We pay anywhere from $35-$40 an hour. We are looking for highly skilled, motivated, versatile, dependable, and dynamic individuals who have strong communication skills and become part of this exciting journey into the future with us.Working Hours:Monday-Thursday between 5:00-7:00 p.m. ESTScreening process:Must submit a cover letterMust demonstrate Math teaching skills via an in-person demoMust have:At least 5 years of experience teaching English language arts subjectStrong referencesTaught Math subjects either in elementary school settingsTeacher CertificationDuties- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in mathematics for students- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment- Utilize effective teaching strategies to ensure student understanding and success- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skillsSkills- Strong behavior management skills to create a positive classroom environment- Knowledge of childhood development principles and strategies for effective education- Understanding of early childhood education techniques for teaching foundational math skills- Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environmentJob Type: Part-timeSalary: $35.00/hour - 40:00/hrJob Types: Contract, Part-timeBenefits:Referral programSchedule:Monday to ThursdayWork Location: In-personJob Type: Part-timePay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
