The ideal applicant will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.Duties<ul><li>Develop, test, and implement software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, and others.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.</li><li>Maintain and enhance existing applications by debugging issues and implementing improvements.</li><li>Utilise version control systems including GitHub, SVN, Git, and manage code repositories effectively.</li><li>Design and develop APIs for seamless integration between different systems and services.</li><li>Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy scalable applications.</li><li>Develop front-end components for web applications with a focus on user experience optimisation.</li><li>Write efficient SQL queries for database management using MySQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases.</li><li>Implement RESTful services to support application functionalities.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.</li><li>Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in software development across multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.</li><li>Strong understanding of front-end development principles and frameworks.</li><li>Experience working with version control tools such as GitHub, SVN or Git.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure for application deployment.</li><li>Knowledge of API design and integration using REST standards.</li><li>Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server.</li><li>Experience with Linux operating systems is desirable.</li><li>Prior involvement in application development projects involving .NET technologies is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
