<div><div>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd &amp; 3rd Shift CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines&mdash;including lathes and milling machines&mdash;to produce precision components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure high-quality production that meets strict specifications. Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Operate CNC lathes and milling machines using Fanuc controls or similar systems to produce complex parts with precision.</li><li>
Program CNC machines utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and CNC programming skills to optimize machining processes.</li><li>
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure parts meet design specifications.</li><li>
Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.</li><li>
Conduct routine machine maintenance, tool changes, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.</li><li>
Utilize electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques when required for complex or hard materials.</li><li>
Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance safety standards.</li><li>
Assist with assembly processes when necessary, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and finished according to specifications.</li><li>
Maintain detailed documentation of production runs, quality checks, and machine settings for traceability.</li></ul><div><br>
<b>
Experience:</b></div><ul><li>
Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC mills and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages like G-code and M-code; familiarity with CAM software such as SolidWorks or CAD programs is a plus.</li><li>
Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&amp;T interpretation, and mechanical measurements using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).</li><li>
Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM), plastics injection molding processes, welding techniques, and power tools is advantageous.</li><li>
Ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly while maintaining safety standards; experience with Fanuc controls is preferred.</li><li>
Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters; understanding of lean manufacturing practices is desirable.</li><li>
Knowledge of tooling setup, fixture installation, and the use of hand tools for machining adjustments.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively on 2nd or 3rd shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
