We work to ensure each student is self-reliant, respected, and recognized as a unique individual, embraced in a family environment.We are searching for teachers that can RISE to any challenge, push beyond expectations, and deliver a quality education to our students in any environment.Duties and Responsibilities&#9679; Teach a range of advanced mathematics courses, including AP and dual-enrollment sections.&#9679; Design and implement curriculum using the Understanding by Design (UbD) framework to promote enduring understanding and mastery of key mathematical concepts.&#9679; Employ student-centered, inquiry-based, and project-based learning methodologies that encourage exploration, collaboration, and critical thinking.&#9679; Develop and use authentic assessments that measure both conceptual understanding and the application of mathematical ideas to real-world contexts.&#9679; Integrate technology and digital tools meaningfully into instruction to enhance engagement and support diverse learners.&#9679; Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture where all students are challenged and empowered to succeed.&#9679; Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects, align curriculum across grade levels, and share best practices in teaching and learning.&#9679; Embrace a growth mindset.&#9679; Communicate effectively and proactively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to support student growth and success.&#9679; Participate actively in the life of the school, including weekend supervision duties (8 days per year) and involvement in extracurricular programs.&#9679; Serve as a mentor and role model for young adults, encouraging integrity, curiosity, and resilience.Knowledge, Experience, Education, and Competencies&#9679; Master&rsquo;s in mathematics or related field is required.&#9679; 2+ years of experience in teaching or a related field is preferred but not required.&#9679; Cultivate problem-solving skills using real-world scenarios, guiding students to reason abstractly and quantitatively.&#9679; Student-centered, dynamic educator who uses a variety of instructional approaches.&#9679; Proven track record of success with student achievement at the Upper School level.&#9679; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish solid positive working relationships&#9679; Ability to exercise sound judgment.&#9679; Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information with the highest ethical standards and meticulous attention to detail.&#9679; Prefer private, boarding school experience and be excited about the challenges and rewards of working in such an environment.&#9679; Must believe in and support the mission and vision of the Academy.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,168.44 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
