 This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing and managing all operational and logistics activities across India. The primary objective is to ensure that all activities are efficient, compliant, and profitable. The role involves strategic oversight of operations, the domestic supply chain, and distribution, combined with driving operational excellence across various departments.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Operations &amp; Logistics Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and achieve business goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage transportation, terminals/warehousing, and distribution for timely and cost-effective delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze logistics networks and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers and logistics service providers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with trading, sales, compliance, finance, and treasury teams to align operations with organizational goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all logistics activities.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Leadership &amp; Financial Oversight
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Recruit, lead, train, and mentor teams across operations and logistics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and manage budgets for operations and logistics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare regular reports on performance, cost control, and KPIs for senior management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and track KPIs for operations, inventory, and service delivery.
 </li>

 Qualifications &amp; Competencies
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Education:
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Experience:
 
 10+ years in Trading/Marine operations and logistics, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Skills:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of supply chain and operational best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Financial acumen and budget responsibility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leadership, people management, and team-building capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in ERP and logistics management systems.
 </li>

 Responsibilities

 Identify market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities through research, industry events, publications, and digital platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and enhance brand awareness across multiple sectors including oil &amp; gas and industrial markets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan, direct, and coordinate marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, public relations, and promotional activities to strengthen brand positioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to support lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum ROI from campaigns and events.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new products, services, or regional expansions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the preparation of marketing content including brochures, presentations, advertisements, newsletters, case studies, and online materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee digital marketing channels (website, SEO, social media, email campaigns) to expand visibility and engagement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize and participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, and conferences to enhance market presence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and maintain relationships with media, consultants, and external agencies to amplify company visibility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor, analyze, and report marketing performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and effective decision-making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support customer and consultant engagement programs by providing technical marketing material and thought-leadership content.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure consistent corporate branding and compliance across all communication channels and regions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep updated on industry best practices by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and networking with peers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enhance organizational reputation by accepting ownership for new initiatives, delivering impactful marketing strategies, and exploring opportunities to add value to the company.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering / in any fields.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience: 10+ years&rsquo; experience, preferably in a similar position in manufacturing / oil &amp; gas company.
 </li>
 <li>
 Linguistic Skills: Fluent in English, Arabic can be added advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Driving License: Must.
 </li>
 <li>
 Software Skills: ERP, MS Office.
 </li>
