The Purchasing Coordinator supports the procurement process by managing purchase orders, vendor communication, and inventory replenishment. This role ensures timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company policies, material content regulations, and tariff/compliance requirements.Essential Tasks:<ul><li>Create, review, and process purchase orders within RK systems.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid out of stocks or overstock.</li><li>Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Track and expedite orders to meet production and operational timelines.</li><li>Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for audits and reporting.</li><li>Ensure material content compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., PFAS, PTFE,&#8239;Lead &amp; Cadmium,&#8239;sustainability,&#8239;and recycling).</li><li>Verify tariff compliance and proper classification of goods for import/export documentation.</li><li>Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating vendor performance.</li><li>Frequently collaborate with Operations to ensure timely appropriate levels of available inventory.</li><li>Support compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.</li><li>Other related tasks as required by supervisor</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education: Associate or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.</li><li>Experience: 1&ndash;3 years in purchasing or procurement.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Knowledge of purchasing processes, ERP systems, and compliance regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with material content standards and tariff classifications.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.</li><li>High Computer literacy</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
