<p>Rangefront Mining Services is seeking a motivated <b>Junior Geologist</b> to support geological and exploration activities for one of our valued mining clients. This role is ideal for an early-career geologist eager to gain hands-on experience in data collection, logging, and geological interpretation while working alongside experienced professionals in an active mining or exploration environment.</p>
<p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2>
<ul><li>Work safely and responsibly to prevent harm to self or others.</li><li>Understand and follow verbal and written work instructions and safety procedures.</li><li>Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.</li><li>Safely operate on-road and off-road vehicles.</li><li>Identify, control, and report safety or environmental hazards.</li><li>Assist with geological mapping, sampling, and core logging.</li><li>Collect, organize, and accurately enter geological and assay data.</li><li>Support senior geologists with data validation, reporting, and basic interpretations.</li><li>Maintain organized records and contribute to daily and weekly project reporting.</li></ul>

<ul><li><b>Education:</b> Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field required.</li><li><b>Experience:</b> Entry-level to 2 years of geological experience preferred.</li><li><b>Imperative:</b> Familiarity with <b>Minnesota geology</b>, with <b>strong preference for experience working with Duluth Complex lithologies</b>.</li><li>Understanding of igneous petrology and magmatic systems is highly desirable.</li><li>Experience with geological mapping, sampling, and core logging preferred.</li><li>Basic proficiency with geological software (Leapfrog, Acquire, or similar is a plus).</li><li>Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license required.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li></ul>
