Rapid7 is looking for an experienced Procurement leader to join a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading all Procurement efforts and collaborating cross functionally to identify long-term strategy to ensure Rapid7&rsquo;s success.
About the Role 
As the Director of Procurement, you will oversee the centralized, end-to-end sourcing process, which includes demand and stakeholder management, supply analysis and strategy, supplier identification, sourcing execution (e.g., RFPs), contract negotiation, and delivery planning.
In this role, you will:<ul>
<li>
Manage our organizational procurement strategy, best-practice-based processes and short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives.</li>
<li>
Manage, coach, lead and develop a global team of two analysts, strengthening procurement talent, business acumen, and productivity.</li>
<li>
Negotiate terms and conditions for new and renewed contracts, working with our legal and other internal teams to define the must haves.</li>
<li>
Identify and realize cost-saving / cost-reduction and cost-avoidance opportunities, targeting a measurable Procurement ROI.</li>
<li>
Lead major Supplier Contract/ Price negotiations, driving transparency with senior leaders across the business through effective communication of procurement priorities, outcomes, and performance.</li>
<li>
Prepare and analyze RF(x) events.</li>
<li>
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors, while overseeing the performance of vendors and ensuring they meet or exceed expectations, aiming for a high supplier quality rating and compliance rate.</li>
<li>
Develop benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous vendor improvement.</li>
<li>
Partner with InfoSec and Legal on Third Party Risk Program and make recommendations on 3rd Party Onboarding process.</li>
<li>
Ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with contract / pricing / payment terms and take corrective actions as required.</li>
<li>
Benchmark spending and vendor data to align with best practices and identify areas to drive more efficient spend.</li>
</ul>
The skills you&rsquo;ll bring include:<ul>
<li>
10+ years of experience in Procurement with five or more years in a leadership role.</li>
<li>
Excellent leadership skills including the ability to think critically and independently, communicate effectively, and personal integrity.</li>
<li>
Strong negotiation skills, particularly in complex software and service agreements.</li>
<li>
Proficiency with ERP systems and ERP system implementation.</li>
<li>
Ability to deliver results with limited oversight and supervision.</li>
<li>
Understanding of industry-standard Procurement best practices and general procurement regulations, with a strong emphasis on data-driven procurement strategies.</li>
<li>
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.</li></ul>

The salary range for this role in the US is:
$161,200.00 - 218,000.00 USD Annual

 Associate Managed Detection &amp; Response (MDR) Analyst
 
 
 
 Rapid7&rsquo;s Tactical Operations team (TACOPS) is responsible for handling the most time-critical tasks for all customers, such as the investigation and triage of high priority security alerts using our cloud hosted SIEM, InsightIDR. This team is composed of Managed Detection &amp; Response Analysts who work on the following shift schedules (there is no night shift for U.S. analysts at Rapid7!). Rapid7 offers a flexible work environment; Associate Analysts are required to work in our SOC two days per week, one of which is typically Wednesday.
 
 
 Shift A: Sunday-Wednesday from 10am-8pm ET
 
 
 Shift B: Wednesday-Saturday from 10am-8pm ET
 
 
 
 About The Role
 
 
 
 Most days for Associate Analysts will consist of reviewing alert data to identify evil activity in customer environments. In these roles you will be empowered to steer investigations. Investigations include everything from evidence acquisition and analysis to figure out how the intrusion began to identify any malicious or unexpected activity related to the event. Based on this investigation you will be responsible for writing an incident report which includes your technical analysts, documented findings and remediation recommendations for customers. Your customer advisor colleagues will be largely responsible for direct communication with the customer. You will have fellow analysts who will be ready to help you if you encounter a problem or have a question, including Mid, Senior and Lead Analysts.
 
 
 In the event of a security incident that rises to the level of a Remote Incident Response engagement, Associate Analysts may be tasked with performing investigation tasks related to the investigation. In this circumstance you will focus on helping a team track threat actor actions across an environment by examining forensic artifacts.

 Knowledge of Windows, Linux operating systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Fundamental knowledge of security concepts gained either through education, work as a systems administrator or from any of the preferred requirements below (lateral movement, privilege escalation, persistence methods, command and control, exfiltration, etc.). While Helpdesk IT experience alone may provide working knowledge of hardware, it is not necessarily applicable to this role and cybersecurity.
