Our clients include several of the largest oil &amp; gas producers in Canada and worldwide, and we are currently executing a wide range of sweet gas, sour gas, conventional oil, heavy oil facility and pipeline projects.Summary: The Senior Piping Engineer directs and executes all aspects of Piping Engineering activities within the department. Ensures all Piping Engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established objectives. Supports the Piping Engineering team across our global oAices, including Canada, Australia, USA, and India.Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Subject matter expert for piping design, specification, and installation.</li><li>Oversee, train, and mentor junior and intermediate piping engineers.</li><li>Ensure the quality and accuracy of Piping Engineering deliverables.</li><li>Ensure eAective use of global workshare to meet corporate requirements.</li><li>Assist in leading and execution of project deliverables including but not limited to piping specifications, line designation tables, isometric and general arrangement drawings, material requisitions, and specialty item specifications.</li><li>Identify and coordinate within the EQI oAice, stress engineering requirements related to piping design.</li><li>Work closely with Piping Design Drafting department to ensure eAicient delivery of optimized piping arrangements.</li><li>Contribute to model reviews at 30%, 60%, and 90% design stages, working closely with Piping Design and Drafting department to ensure readily identifiable optimizations are incorporated prior to client review.</li><li>Support, maintenance of Piping Engineering procedures and standards.</li><li>Liaise with Stress, Mechanical, Supply Chain and Project Management within the EQI oAice.</li><li>Develop, manage, and implement project specifications.</li><li>Support staA performance reviews and training.</li><li>Demonstrate commitment to the Health and Safety program.</li></ul>Key Skills: <ul><li>Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Demonstrable experience in mentorship and training.</li><li>Proven ability to execute eAiciently on small to medium sized projects.</li><li>Experience in contributing to multi-discipline teams, including global workshare.</li><li>Proven experience designing to ASME B31.3, B31.1, B31.4 and B 31.8.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of metallurgy and materials selection for corrosive and elevated temperature piping systems.</li><li>Working knowledge of welding procedures, procedure qualification and NDE methodology.</li><li>Experience with pressure piping applications to ABSA, TSASK, is considered an asset.</li><li>Design experience working with boiler and steam piping systems is considered an asset.</li><li>Ability to eAectively resolve interdisciplinary issues, or concerns that arise within a team environment.</li><li>Broad exposure to natural gas, conventional oil and heavy oil facility design and construction.</li><li>Familiarity with materials requisitions and supply chain management systems and procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of Pipeline Engineering is considered an asset.</li></ul>Education and Qualifications: <ul><li>Possess a Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering degree.</li><li>Minimum 10+ year&rsquo;s oil and gas experience with minimum 5 years recent EPCM experience, focused on mechanical and piping engineering.</li><li>Experience in CAD and 3D piping modelling is considered an asset.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;1,500,000.00 - &#8377;2,200,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
