Role Overview</b></div><div>
We are seeking skilled and motivated Field Service Technicians (FST) to join our team in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical field support for advanced cargo scanning systems. You will play a key role in delivering high-visibility customer service by diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex Cargo X-Ray equipment, while also supporting the daily operational tasks of the L3 Field Service Engineers (FSE).</div><div></div><div><br>
This dynamic and fast-paced position offers a variety of challenges, with no two days alike. It requires a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with end users and effectively train them on system operation and maintenance. Responsibilities span across all aspects of field support, including hardware, software, PCs, and both wired and wireless networking.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li><b>System Maintenance &amp; Repair</b><br>
Perform Level 1 and Level 2 maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) systems and subsystems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components, as directed by the Field Service Engineer (FSE).</li><li><b>
Technical Diagnostics &amp; Fault Resolution</b><br>
Identify, isolate, and resolve technical issues across CVI systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance. This includes both proactive and reactive maintenance tasks.</li><li><b>
Technical Communication &amp; Escalation</b><br>
Provide clear and concise oral and written reports to escalate complex technical issues (Level 3) to engineering teams or site engineers, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.</li><li><b>
Installation Support</b><br>
Assist installation teams during system deployment phases, including setup, configuration, and initial testing of CVI systems.</li><li><b>
Documentation &amp; Reporting</b><br>
Complete all required technical documentation, including service daily and weekly reports, system logs. Accurately input service data into internal databases and reporting tools.</li><li><b>
Compliance &amp; Safety</b><br>
Adhere to all company, customer, and regulatory safety standards and protocols while working on-site.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Worked in field service or maintenance/repair of a range of products</li><li>
Ability to work on their own in harsh and remote environments</li><li>
Ability to work as part of a team</li><li>
Operating power tools</li><li>
Use of hand tools
</li><li>Experience gained within an electrical or mechanical discipline
</li><li>Previous experience of Field Service Delivery would be advantageous but full training would be provided for the right candidate.
</li><li>IPAF Manlift training is an advantage

Role Overview</b></h1><div>
We are seeking a Senior PLC Engineer / Field Service Team Leader to support service operations across the UAE and MEA region. Based in Dubai and dedicated to the Dubai Airport project, this role combines leadership with hands-on engineering expertise. You will lead a team of engineers while overseeing PLC integration with baggage handling systems (BHS) and ensuring high-quality delivery and support of X-ray screening systems.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Develop and maintain PLC systems using Rockwell (RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000)</li><li>
Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, system integration and handover</li><li>
Lead site activities including troubleshooting and performance optimisation</li><li>
Provide advanced technical support including root cause analysis</li><li>
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on systems</li><li>
Integrate EDS systems with BHS and HLC systems</li><li>
Lead, mentor and manage a team of Field Service Engineers</li><li>
Ensure SLA compliance and oversee daily service operations</li><li>
Maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>10&ndash;12 years experience in field service or automation engineering</li><li>
Strong PLC expertise (Rockwell platforms)</li><li>
Experience with X-ray or screening systems is highly desirable</li><li>
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments</li><li>
Willingness to travel and adapt to flexible working hours</li><li><b>
Qualifications &amp; Technical Skills</b></li><li>
BSc in Electrical Engineering or related field</li><li>
Postgraduate qualification (desirable)</li><li>
Knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation</li><li>
Familiarity with electrical schematics and mechanical assemblies</li><li>
Experience with MS Windows systems advantageous</li><li>
