 Role Overview:
 
 
 The
 
 Risk Manager
 
 is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive risk management framework across Raqamyah&rsquo;s operations, in alignment with the
 
 Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) Risk Management and Corporate Governance Regulations
 
 . The role ensures that all material risks &mdash; credit, operational, liquidity, market, compliance, and information security &mdash; are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and reported.
 
 
 This is a critical control function supporting Raqamyah&rsquo;s mission to maintain prudent risk culture, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability as the company scales its institutional and retail lending operations.
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 1. Risk Governance &amp; Framework
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Establish and maintain Raqamyah&rsquo;s
 
 Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
 
 framework, policies, and procedures in line with
 
 SAMA requirements
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper risk governance structure, including
 
 risk appetite statements, limits, and key risk indicators (KRIs)
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate periodic reviews and approval of risk policies by the
 
 Risk Committee and the Board of Directors
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote a
 
 strong risk culture
 
 across all departments through training, awareness, and reporting.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 2. Credit &amp; Portfolio Risk
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee the credit risk management framework for
 
 SME and micro-lending portfolios
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Review borrower assessment methodologies, credit scoring models, and default probability estimates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor portfolio concentration, delinquency, and
 
 Expected Credit Loss (ECL)
 
 under
 
 IFRS 9
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with the Credit and Collections teams to manage exposures, early warning signals, and provisioning adequacy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare risk analytics and performance dashboards for
 
 institutional lenders and board reporting
 
 .
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 3. Operational &amp; IT Risk
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Identify, assess, and monitor
 
 operational risks
 
 arising from people, systems, processes, and external factors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain the
 
 Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
 
 and incident reporting processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the
 
 Cybersecurity and GRC
 
 teams to ensure compliance with
 
 SAMA Cybersecurity Framework
 
 ,
 
 NCA controls
 
 , and
 
 PDPL
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Support
 
 business continuity and disaster recovery
 
 planning and testing.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 4. Regulatory, Reporting &amp; Board Support

 Prepare periodic
 
 risk dashboards and heat maps
 
 for the CEO and Board Risk Committee.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure full compliance with
 
 SAMA&rsquo;s Risk Management, Governance, and Internal Control Guidelines
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with
 
 Internal Audit, Compliance, and Finance
 
 to close regulatory findings and ensure continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain up-to-date
 
 Risk Register

 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in
 
 Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, or related field
 
 (Master&rsquo;s preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 
 5&ndash;10 years
 
 of experience in risk management, preferably within a
 
 SAMA-regulated financial institution or fintech
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth understanding of
 
 SAMA Risk Management Framework
 
 ,
 
 IFRS 9
 
 , and
 
 credit risk modeling
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in SME lending or consumer finance is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills.
 </li>
