Purpose of the role:Responsible for the efficient coordination and development of personal, residential and commercial properties. Julfar Contracting L.L.C is hiring a Procurement Engineer with combined expertise in Civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) disciplines, specifically for construction projects in the Dubai real estate sector.Job Title: Procurement Engineer (Civil &amp; MEP) Location: Dubai, UAE Experience Level: 5 - 8 Years Industry: Construction/Real Estate (Villas &amp; High-Rise Towers) We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to manage the end-to-end sourcing and acquisition of all Civil and MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for our high-end villa and high-rise tower projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with proven supply chain management expertise to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality control, and timely delivery in compliance with local regulations and project timelines.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies for both Civil (e.g., concrete, steel, finishes) and MEP (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing materials) items in line with project requirements and budgets.</li><li>Sourcing &amp; Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and qualify reliable local and international suppliers and subcontractors. Manage the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and conduct regular performance reviews.</li><li>Tendering &amp; Negotiation: Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs), analyze technical and commercial bids, and lead negotiations with vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Technical Compliance: Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and material submittals to ensure all procured items meet project quality standards and design requirements.</li><li>Logistics &amp; Delivery Management: Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and site teams to ensure timely material delivery, including managing international shipments and customs clearance when necessary.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders (POs), contracts, and claims. Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and budget forecasts for management.</li><li>Quality Assurance &amp; Compliance: Work with Quality Control teams to inspect materials upon delivery and resolve any non-compliance issues.
