Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Experience: Prior experience (usually 2-5 years) in import/export operations or logistics is essential.</li><li>Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and the Harmonized System Nomenclature (HSN) classification is crucial.</li><li>Manage and Coordinate Operations: Oversee the overall import and export operations, including planning, organizing, and executing supply chain activities. This involves managing the movement of goods across borders efficiently and cost-effectively.</li><li>Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee compliance with all international trade laws, customs regulations, and internal policies. This includes staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.</li><li>Documentation Management: Prepare, verify, process, and maintain all necessary documentation for customs clearance and shipping, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.</li><li>Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.</li><li>Shipment Monitoring and Tracking: Monitor and track the status of shipments to guarantee on-time delivery and address any delays or problems promptly.</li><li>Problem Solving and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues, disputes, or irregularities that arise during the shipping or customs clearance process.</li><li>Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate shipping rates, terms, and contracts with carriers, vendors, and service providers to optimize costs and efficiency.</li><li>Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all transactions for regulatory and auditing purposes and prepare reports and analyses for management review.</li><li>Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal departments (e.g., marketing, warehouse, finance) and external partners (clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies) to align on schedules and requirements.</li><li>Process Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of import/export activities, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize processes and reduce costs.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;18,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
