 About the Opportunity
 
 
 We are seeking a talented&nbsp;
 
 Aviation Lawyer
 
 &nbsp;to join our expanding legal team in Dubai. This role offers exposure across the full spectrum of our aviation operations &mdash; including&nbsp;
 
 charter, cargo, and scheduled commercial services
 
 &nbsp;&mdash; with responsibility for high-value transactions, regulatory advisory, and cross-border commercial contracts. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of law, business, and strategy, working directly with senior management and global stakeholders.
 
 Core Responsibilities
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of&nbsp;
 
 aircraft sale &amp; purchase agreements, operating and finance leases, ACMI/wet leases, and MRO/PBH contracts
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise on&nbsp;
 
 UAE GCAA CARs
 
 , international conventions (Montreal 1999, Cape Town), and related aviation regulatory requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support&nbsp;
 
 AOC applications, variations, and traffic rights
 
 , ensuring alignment with operational and commercial objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage&nbsp;
 
 aviation insurance portfolios
 
 , including hull, liability, war risk, and AVN clauses, while liaising with insurers and brokers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide guidance on&nbsp;
 
 commercial disputes and arbitration
 
 , with emphasis on DIFC/ADGM frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement governance frameworks, compliance monitoring (AML, sanctions, data protection), and in-house training initiatives.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Candidate Profile
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Education:
 
 &nbsp;LLB/LLM from a recognised institution; admitted/eligible to practice in a common-law jurisdiction.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Experience:
 
 &nbsp;2&ndash;5 years PQE within aviation, asset finance, or transportation (law firm, airline, lessor, OEM, or MRO).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong expertise in&nbsp;
 
 aviation contract drafting/negotiation
 
 &nbsp;and knowledge of UAE/GCC aviation regulatory frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Preferred exposure
 
 : AOC processes, aviation finance/security documentation, DIFC/ADGM dispute resolution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, international environment.
 </li>
