<div>Raycap, Inc., an industry leader in manufacturing solutions for telecommunications, renewable energy, transportation, defense, and other applications, is currently looking for a Material Handler in our Kearny, NJ facility. This is a fast-paced position in a metal manufacturing environment.
The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and tracking materials throughout the facility. This role supports production and shipping by loading and unloading trucks, staging and organizing materials, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and ensuring all products are handled according to company standards. The Material Handler must keep all work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe and efficient workflow. This position works closely with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to maintain smooth operations.
First Shift: Monday through Friday; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with overtime as required
Primary Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Fill orders and package materials and finished products</li><li>
Unloads materials from trucks</li><li>
Operate a computer terminal for data input</li><li>
Prepare and package finished goods for shipping</li><li>
Prepare documentation regarding exporting materials and finished product</li><li>
Stacks and ships trade show and demonstration materials as directed by sales/marketing departments</li><li>
Using a forklift, pallet jack or hand truck, distributes incoming freight to appropriate departments</li><li>
Ensure materials are stored neatly and in designated locations for easy identification</li><li>
Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards
</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED</li><li>
Basic data entry skills</li><li>
Ability to follow written and verbal directions</li><li>
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds</li></ul>
Physical Demands:<ul><li>
The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, keyboards or controls</li><li>
Handle long periods of physical activity while maintaining safety and accuracy.</li><li>
Work in varying warehouse conditions, including hot, cold, or noisy environments.</li><li>
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely for extended periods.</li><li>
Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear</li><li>
Occasionally required to walk, sit; and may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl</li><li>
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li><li>
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus</li></ul> 
BREAK/LUNCH: 30-minute lunch, plus two 15-minute breaks, to be determined by manager
