Position : Junior Foreign Accountant Department : Finance &amp; Accounting Reports To : Finance Manager / CFO Location : Gandhinagar Employment Type: Full-time - Immediate joiners preferredAbout the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Foreign Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires hands-on experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, budgeting, and audit support. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.</li><li>Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.</li><li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.</li><li>Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.</li><li>Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.</li><li>Review and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.</li><li>Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accountants and accounting staff.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and analysis.</li></ul>Cross-Border Transactions<ul><li>Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.</li><li>Prepare documentation for international transactions to comply with transfer pricing and other regulatory requirements.</li><li>Monitor and maintain foreign bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Communication<ul><li>Work closely with local finance teams, management, and other departments to ensure alignment on financial reporting and strategic goals.</li><li>Provide financial advice and guidance to business units on international finance and accounting issues.</li><li>Liaise with international stakeholders to resolve accounting matters and provide regular financial updates.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).</li><li>0-2 years of progressive accounting experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, XERO, ZOHO, MYOB, SAGE, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).</li><li>Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>Excellent communication.</li><li>Ready to learn new software and be able to cross train team members effectively</li></ul>What We Offer&middot; Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.&middot; Professional development and career growth opportunities.&middot; A collaborative and dynamic work environment.This role provides a great opportunity to work in an international environment with exposure to global financial practices.
