Position Summary</h2>
RBCI is seeking a Material Coordinator to support the Logistics effort in the Hines, Illinois area. This role is 100% onsite.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

DutiesResponsibilities</h2><ul><li>
Perform a range of warehouse functions including:</li><li>
Inventory management</li><li>
Order picking and packing</li><li>
Assisting with shipping, receiving, and transfers</li><li>
Supporting efficient utilization of space and material resources</li><li>
Tracking inventory in the VA's Inventory Management System (IMS)</li><li>
Conducting regular inventories, audits, and cycle counts</li><li>
Investigating inventory discrepancies and reporting findings</li><li>
Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks</li><li>
Drive BDR provided vehicles to transport IT assets or materials between locations</li><li>
Load and unload materials for delivery or transfer</li><li>
Ensure vehicle safety inspections and logs are completed prior to and after each trip</li><li>
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, IT personnel, and VA stakeholders to ensure smooth asset movement and inventory accuracy</li><li>
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualification</h2><ul><li>
High school diploma or GED</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations</li><li>
Valid driver's license with clean driving record</li><li>
Basic math and organizational skills</li><li>
Requires Tier 1 Background Investigation (BI)</li></ul>
Physical Demands and Work Environment<ul><li>
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly</li><li>
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift</li><li>
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)</li><li>
Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures</li><li>
Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle</li></ul>
