Job SummaryRCB Industries is hiring a Senior Web Developer &ndash; Platforms &amp; Integrations to elevate our multi-brand WordPress/WooCommerce ecosystem and connect it to our business systems. This is an expert, hands-on role that blends front-end/theme work (Divi), WooCommerce ownership, and systems integration across Salesforce, Rootstock, QuickBooks Online, ShipStation, AWS, and MuleSoft.You&rsquo;ll build, improve, and maintain our sites; decide what&rsquo;s done in-house vs. via our external support partner; and deliver reliable, observable data flows between platforms. This is not a people-management role&mdash;it&rsquo;s for a hands-on builder who can do the work, own execution as well as guide direction.**Please note: We are unable to provide sponsorship at this time, and are seeking candidates who are already local to the area.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the design, customization, and optimization of WordPress/WooCommerce sites (themes, Divi builder, plugins, templates).</li><li>Manage site performance, security, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards (WCAG/ADA, GDPR/CCPA).</li><li>Guide vendor collaboration &mdash; oversee our external web support partner and decide which requests stay internal vs. external.</li><li>Develop and manage integrations between websites and enterprise platforms (Salesforce, MuleSoft, ShipStation, AWS, Rootstock, QuickBooks Online).</li><li>Build/maintain webhooks, REST/JSON APIs, and event-driven workflows; handle OAuth 2.0, JWT, retries/backoff, and error queues.</li><li>Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting (dashboarding, run health, failure notifications, reconciliation checks).</li><li>Manage staging/sandbox usage, version control (Git), CI/CD basics, and safe releases.</li><li>Apply security best practices, including least-privilege access, secrets management, and compliant data handling.</li><li>Partner with Marketing/Operations/Production to scope requests, improve flows, and ship outcomes.</li><li>Document processes and act as a subject matter expert for future team growth.</li></ul>QualificationsEducation<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Required: 8+ years of professional web development, with deep WordPress/WooCommerce delivery.</li><li>Preferred: In addition to WooCommerce, 5+ years of experience with alternative platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento (Adobe Commerce), with proven ability to architect, implement, and support scalable e-commerce solutions across multiple ecosystems.</li><li>Strong Divi (or comparable builder) site architecture and customization experience.</li><li>Proven ownership of large WordPress initiatives (migrations, redesigns, multisite, performance).</li><li>Hands-on systems integration among e-commerce/ERP/finance/logistics platforms, ideally including Salesforce, Rootstock, QuickBooks Online (OAuth 2.0), ShipStation, and WooCommerce.</li><li>workflow automation: Preferred - MuleSoft and Zapier.</li><li>Webhooks, REST/JSON APIs, and auth (OAuth 2.0, JWT).</li><li>Practical AWS exposure (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2).</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; responsive UX; accessibility; Core Web Vitals.</li><li>WordPress: Divi, custom themes/templates, plugin configuration/customization.</li><li>Backend/integration: PHP, MySQL; API design/consumption; data mapping and reconciliation.</li><li>Reliability: Observability (logs/metrics/alerts), idempotent jobs, retry patterns, and incident playbooks.</li><li>Delivery: Git, branching, PR reviews, basic CI/CD, sandbox/staging discipline.</li><li>Collaboration: Writes crisp requirements and tickets; comfortable directing vendors; clear documentation.</li><li>GA4/Analytics, SEO technical basics.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Full-time, on-site in Ball Ground, GA</li><li>Monday&ndash;Friday, 8:00 AM&ndash;5:00 PM</li><li>No visa sponsorship</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary ($100,000&ndash;$115,000+, DOE)</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off and parental leave</li><li>Ongoing professional development</li></ul>Why This Role MattersRCB Industries is in the middle of a digital transformation.
