Job Summary</b>:<br>
The Fabricator is responsible for assembling, cutting, welding, and shaping metal components to create finished products according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.</p><p><b>
Job Responsibilities</b>:</p><ul><li><div>
Maintain production throughput of assigned parts</div></li><li><div>
Use blueprints to produce and meet all specifications</div></li><li><div>
Completing and demonstrating all basic skill competencies</div></li><li><div>
Able to operate in the shop with little or no supervision</div></li><li><div>
Use material handling equipment safely to move parts</div></li><li><div>
Follow all safety standards and procedures</div></li><li><div>
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, and measuring tools</div></li><li><div>
Use multiple welding machines to repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes</div></li><li><div>
Understand and implement personal and company safety measures by wearing PPE</div></li><li><div>
Work independently and be a self-motivator</div></li><li><div>
Able to work within timelines</div></li><li><div>
Maintain a clean workplace</div></li><li><div>
Communicate with various departments for the direction of the project</div></li><li><div>
Contribute to the quality control of the project</div></li></ul><div><br>

Knowledge/Experience Required</b>:</p><ul><li><div>
3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a structural steel environment</div></li><li><div>
Must be able to read blueprints and build with fixtures</div></li><li><div>
Familiarity with standard structural steel fabrication practices for welding, cutting, drilling and punching steel</div></li><li><div>
Proficient in GMAW</div></li><li><div>
Understand and can use measuring instruments</div></li><li><div>
Ability to pass a weld test in AWS D1.1 Flat prior to hiring</div></li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
