**While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:**

+ Collaborating closely with product managers and other engineers to translate user needs into technical specifications. Offering clear technical guidance and direction to a team of highly skilled engineers, ensuring solutions meet user and tech requirements

+ Working within value-driven teams to craft data and engineering excellence, contributing to the technical roadmap and fostering a well-connected, knowledgeable team

+ Leading technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural reviews to maintain code quality, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure adherence to standards

+ Prioritizing and triaging custodianship work and leading the development of a Systems Health Improvement Plan (SHIP) to maintain the well-being of team systems

+ Ability to ensure the operational stability and optimal performance of infrastructure and platform systems.

+ Staying updated on the latest web and data engineering trends and applying them to solve complex challenges

+ Providing mentorship and guidance through pairing, mentoring other team members, and fostering their professional growth and skill development

**Who we&rsquo;re looking for:**

+ Extensive experience in designing, coding, and testing software applications and systems

+ Strong development skills with development languages and frameworks, such as Node JS, Typescript, or React

+ AWS, HTML/CSS

+ Experience with Agile, and/or Continuous Delivery methodologies.

+ Good awareness of TDD, CI/CD approaches and tools.

+ A willingness to tackle challenges with a solutions-focused approach, learning from experiences and adapting strategies.

+ Demonstrates initiative, takes ownership of tasks, and manages time effectively.

**Bonus Points for:**

+ Knowledge of Android and/or iOS development with Kotlin, Java, Swift or Objective C

+ Understanding around GraphQL

Senior Lead Engineer – Full Stack

We&rsquo;re seeking a Senior Engineer &ndash; Mobile (4-6 years&rsquo; experience), who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of REA&rsquo;s cutting-edge products. You will be working collaboratively with our product and technical team members across the globe to help deliver and support REA&rsquo;s real-estate mobile application products.

+ Use your passion for mobile development to aid in enabling a platform-appropriate, seamless and human-centered experience for their users.

+ Collaborate closely with a supportive team, communicating clearly and effectively.

+ Learn and adopt clean and reusable code best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.

+ Take part in exciting iOS projects, developing and optimizing features that deliver exceptional user experiences and help us stay ahead of the curve in mobile development.

+ Take ownership and accountability of individual deliverables.

**Who we&rsquo;re looking for:**

+ 3+ years of experience in iOS development with proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and object-oriented programming principles.

+ Good knowledge of TDD, Docker, CI/CD approaches and tools.

+ Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.

+ Excellent knowledge of software development principles and best practices.

+ Someone who approaches problems with a solutions-oriented mindset and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

+ A lifelong learner, someone who is eager to stay updated on the latest web development trends.

+ Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
