RESPONSIBILITIES:
<br>
This role will focus on generating maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the multi-family/apartment industry by effectively selling flooring products and installation services.</div>
<div>Key responsibilities will include:</div>
<ul><li>Sustaining a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting.</li>
<li>Demonstrating products and services to existing accounts and potential new customers, and assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs.</li>
<li>Providing all necessary information for each new account/customer.</li>
<li>Providing floor plans and pricing for all accounts/customers via customer templates.</li>
<li>Promptly addressing customer concerns, complaints and problems.</li>
<li>Setting and achieving monthly and quarterly goals.</li>
<li>Performing random job site inspections and reporting results to the Installation department.</li>
<li>Maintaining an organized sample/showroom and sales office.</li>
<li>Reporting to management any information pertinent to competitive pricing and/or changes in the competitive landscape.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS:</div>
<ul><li>Highly energetic with a strong hunter mentality.</li>
<li>Coachable, with the willingness and ability to internalize instructions and take actionable steps to better serve our customers and grow the business.</li>
<li>Prior multi-family sales experience is preferred, but is not required.</li>
<li>Strong individual contributor who also thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.</li>
<li>Ability to comfortably deal with ambiguities, and to achieve goals while regularly functioning independently.</li>
<li>Positively persistent customer focus - strives to partner with customers and add value to the relationship.</li>
<li>Strong time management skills, with an excellent ability to prioritize, organize, follow up and follow through.</li>
<li>Professional verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency with MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs and/or Google Sheets.</li>
<li>Ability to conduct business using various remote tools, as needed (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).</li>
<li>Prior prospecting experience and success in closing new business in a field-based sales role is a plus, but is not required.</li>
<li>Flooring product and/or industry knowledge preferred, but is not required.</li>
<li>A clean driving record, your own reliable transportation, and the ability to travel daily in your vehicle to various customer sites within the assigned territory are essential requirements of the job.</li>
