</p><p></p><div><div><b>About the Role</b></div></div><p>
The Financial Manager is responsible for providing general ledger, cash management, financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, customized reports, and financial management consultation services for a portfolio of elite onsite and high-rise community association clients. This position will interface with the General Managers, Director of Association Management, Regional Vice Presidents of Onsite Management, community association Board of Directors and third-party service providers on financial matters. This is a &quot;hands-on&quot; position from an accounting perspective. The Financial Manager will report directly to the Financial Director.</p><div><div><b>
This is a remote position; however we are seeking candidates that live in the Eastern United States.
</b></div></div><div><div><b>Responsibilities</b></div></div><ul><li>
Client contractual service deliverables including review and approval of invoice workflows, production of monthly financial reports and review of annual budgets</li><li>
Managing the monthly pre-close and close processes for a portfolio of communities</li><li>
Managing the preparation process for annual budgets</li><li>
Relationship with client board of directors</li><li>
Managing the daily flow of financial service inquiries and requests</li><li>
Client billing for services performed outside the service level agreement</li><li>
Client satisfaction and retention</li><li>
Troubleshooting and resolving escalated accounting issues</li><li>
Liaison with Shared Services departments providing accounts payable, accounts receivable, property conveyances, community banking, collections, audit &amp; tax, insurance, corporate accounting, Information Technology and transition services in the delivery of overall financial management services</li><li>
Process improvement recommendations and implementation</li><li>
Becoming a &ldquo;subject matter expert&rdquo; on the technology platform with respect to the delivery of accounting and financial management services</li><li>
Projects as required to increase our ability to service our clients</li><li>

Accounting degree from a 4-year accredited college / university</li><li>
Willing to learn new software and various state legislation that applies to common interest realty associations</li><li>

Real estate, property management and/or outsourced accounting / bookkeeping industry experience strongly preferred</li><li>
Hands on experience with a mid to upper tier accounting software package</li><li>
Exceptional computer skills (power user)</li><li>
Graduate degree a plus</li><li>
Excellent grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles</li><li>
Strong organizational and prioritization skills</li><li>
Strong interpersonal/communication (written and verbal) skills</li><li>
Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, challenging, high change/growth environment</li><li>
Advanced Excel Skills &ndash; more than just pivot tables and vlookup</li></ul><p>

$85,000 to $95,000 per year salary, depending on education and experience</p><p><b>
