Mechanical QA/QC Engineer

Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:&#61656; Bachelor&rsquo;s or master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering.&#61656; Minimum of 3 years of management experience including design, engineering of acoustic products.&#61656; In-depth understanding of the Acoustics including compliance to applicable standards and classrequirements, and regulatory requirements.&#61656; In-depth understanding of design &amp; engineering principles including Industrial acoustics, manufacturingprocesses, estimation.&#61656; Strategic leadership ability.&#61656; Able to demonstrate experience of working within design &amp; engineering function.&#61656; Strong working knowledge of 2D, 3D CAD (CATIA) &amp; CAE.&#61656; Experience of managing a team.&#61656; Experience of testing and prototyping.&#61656; Membership of an industry related Professional Body would be advantageous.Key Roles:&#61656; Responsible for leading a design team together with the development team to ensure the delivery of newdesigns from the concept stage to the development of prototypes through to finished products ready formanufacture.&#61656; Drive creative thinking, ensure customer needs are considered and collaborate with the operations teamto ensure products are designed for efficient manufacture.&#61656; Work on multiple major projects requiring innovative solutions that advance the technical field.
