This is not a US based position.Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage financial records, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and support our accounting functions using various accounting software tools. Your expertise will help maintain the financial health of our organization, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and delivering precise financial reports. Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation.</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure data accuracy.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and vendor payments.</li><li>Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, and other financial tools to record transactions and generate reports.</li><li>Conduct payroll processing in compliance with applicable regulations and ensure proper tax reporting.</li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports, including budget analysis and financial statement writing for internal review or external audits.</li><li>Support governmental accounting requirements and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards. Qualifications</li><li>Proven experience with accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools.</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP principles, double entry bookkeeping, debits &amp; credits, and journal entries.</li><li>Knowledge of corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and technical accounting concepts.</li><li>Skilled in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis.</li><li>Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.</li><li>Experience with budgeting processes and financial report writing is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks accurately under deadlines.
