<div>Position Description:
Do you have a passion for helping others and the ability to remain calm, consistent, and safety-focused in high-acuity situations? We&rsquo;re looking for a dependable Mental Health Technician (MHT) to support individuals served in a structured, therapeutic environment. In this role, you&rsquo;ll work directly with individuals served, supporting their daily needs, ensuring safety, and contributing to their treatment journey under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
As an MHT, you&rsquo;ll be an active part of the treatment team&mdash;building trust, promoting recovery, and serving as a positive role model in a therapeutic environment.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>Provide direct care that prioritizes safety, comfort, and individual rights</li>
<li>Support treatment plans through supervision, positive interaction, and role modeling</li>
<li>Assist with daily living needs, nutrition, rest, and exercise</li>
<li>Maintain a safe environment by anticipating risk, setting clear boundaries, and using approved de-escalation techniques.</li>
<li>Report behavioral observations and communicate effectively with nursing staff</li>
<li>Participate in group activities, recreational programs, and therapeutic milieu support</li>
<li>Complete required documentation, safety checks, and observations accurately</li>
<li>Escort or provide one-on-one support to individuals served as needed</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
Education
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (required)</li>
<li>Associate degree in human services, psychology, criminal justice, education, or a related field (preferred)</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul><li>Experience in direct care, behavioral support, youth services, healthcare, residential programs, security, or other high-accountability environments is strongly valued. At least one (1) year of related experience (preferred).</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and understand medical terminology (preferred)</li>
</ul>

Mental Health Technician I

<div>Position Description:
Do you have a passion for helping others and creating safe, supportive environments? We&rsquo;re looking for a Residential Treatment Assistant to join our team. In this role, you&rsquo;ll provide direct, frontline support to individuals served by monitoring activities, maintaining accountability, and contributing to a therapeutic and structured living environment.
As a vital member of the treatment team, you&rsquo;ll play an important role in ensuring safety, fostering positive interactions, and supporting individuals served in their treatment and daily routines. This position is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in behavioral health, human services, or criminal justice while making a real difference in the lives of others.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>Support implementation of individuals served treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team</li>
<li>Promote a safe and therapeutic living environment on the unit</li>
<li>Monitor individuals served activities, movements, and accountability through logs, counts, and reports</li>
<li>Assist staff with educational, vocational, and recreational activities</li>
<li>Observe and document individuals served behaviors related to treatment, safety, and security</li>
<li>Conduct safety checks and routine searches to remove contraband and maintain compliance</li>
<li>Participate in group meetings with individuals served to promote engagement and structure</li>
<li>Intervene in conflicts using de-escalation techniques to ensure safety</li>
<li>Provide one-on-one monitoring for individuals served in crisis when needed</li>
</ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
Education
<ul><li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (required)</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in psychology, social work, or criminal justice (preferred)</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul><li>Direct care experience in mental health, forensic, or residential settings (preferred)</li>
<li>Experience in healthcare, human services, or security (preferred)</li>
</ul>
Licenses/Certifications
<ul><li>Healthcare, mental health, or human services license/certification (preferred)</li>
