</b></h2><p>We are hiring a <b>Patent Paralegal or Senior IP Assistant </b>to support a patent prosecution team at a mid-size law firm.
</p><p>This role requires someone who can independently manage <b>both U.S. and foreign patent prosecution </b>work. You will not be siloed into a single task or limited function.
</p><p>If your experience is limited to domestic filings or docketing only, <b>this is not the right role </b>.
</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Must-Have Experience (Read Carefully)
</b></h2><p>You <b>must </b>have hands-on experience with <b>both </b>:
</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>U.S. Patent Prosecution
</b></h3><ul><li>Provisional and non-provisional filings
</li><li>Office Action responses
</li><li>IDS, amendments, and formalities
</li><li>USPTO filings through allowance and issuance
</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Foreign Patent Prosecution
</b></h3><ul><li>PCT filings
</li><li>National stage entries
</li><li>Direct coordination with foreign counsel
</li><li>Managing international deadlines
</li></ul><p>If you do not have <b>both U.S. and foreign experience </b>, this role is not a fit.
</p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Background
</b></h2><ul><li>4+ years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm
</li><li>Experience owning matters from filing through issuance and maintenance
</li><li>Comfortable billing time
</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills
</li><li>Ability to support multiple attorneys in a team-oriented environment

</b></h2><ul><li>Prepare and file U.S. and foreign patent applications
</li><li>Manage patent prosecution matters end to end
</li><li>Coordinate with foreign associates on international filings
</li><li>Draft and file Office Action responses, IDS, amendments, and formalities
</li><li>Communicate with attorneys and clients regarding deadlines and status
</li><li>Assist with post-issuance matters and portfolio reporting
</li><li>Track and enter billable time

</b></h2><p>We are hiring a <b>senior-level Patent Paralegal or Senior IP Assistant </b>to support a busy patent prosecution practice at a well-established mid-size law firm.
</p><ul><li>This is <b>not </b>a docket-only role.
</li><li>This is <b>not </b>a domestic-only role.
</li><li>This is <b>not </b>a training position.
</li></ul><p>You must have hands-on experience handling <b>both U.S. and foreign patent prosecution </b>matters. This role requires someone who can manage work independently and own matters from filing through issuance.
</p><p>If you only handle domestic filings, or only docket, <b>do not apply </b>.

</b></h3><p>Including:
</p><ul><li>PCT filings

</li><li>Coordinating directly with foreign counsel
</li><li>Managing international deadlines and prosecution requirements
