Job Title: Onsite Senior Inventory Coordinator (Contract) 
Location: Cambridge, MA (Lab Central) 
Contract Duration: 11/17/2025 &ndash; 02/28/2026 
Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 9:00 AM &ndash; 5:30 PM 
Pay Rate: $26.44/hr 
Dress Code: Business casual (company polo provided) 
 
Job Summary: 
We are seeking a detail-oriented Onsite Senior Inventory Coordinator to support a high-performing laboratory services team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, operational support, and customer service. This is a full-time, on-site contract position with no requirement for handling hazardous chemicals or steel-toe boots. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
Inventory Management 
<ul><li>Oversee consumables and chemical inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.</li>
<li>Track stock usage, identify slow-moving items, and perform cycle counts and physical inventories.</li>
</ul>
 
Operational Support 
<ul><li>Receive and break down incoming shipments and manage package deliveries.</li>
<li>Maintain stockroom and flammable storage areas, ensuring proper organization and removal of expired materials.</li>
<li>Log incoming chemicals and classify them accurately in the system.</li>
</ul>
 
Purchasing &amp; Logistics 
<ul><li>Assist with purchasing tasks, including backorder resolution, quote processing, and invoice troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Coordinate shipping activities and support chemical waste disposal with designated vendors.</li>
</ul>
 
Customer Service &amp; Collaboration 
<ul><li>Deliver high-level customer service while maintaining performance metrics.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.</li>
</ul>
 
System &amp; Process Management 
<ul><li>Utilize platforms such as SAP, Citrix, ChemSW, and other customer-specific systems.</li>
<li>Maintain and update SOPs and support change management initiatives.</li>
<li>Manage inbound package delivery and consigned/non-consigned inventory.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications &amp; Skills: 
<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Previous experience in inventory management and customer service.</li>
<li>Ability to operate independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Proficiency with inventory or lab management software is a plus.</li>
</ul>
