Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing clerical tasks, supporting administrative functions, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires proficiency in various office software and systems, as well as strong communication skills.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and maintain filing systems to ensure efficient retrieval of documents.</li><li>Handle incoming calls and inquiries through phone systems, providing excellent customer service.</li><li>Perform clerical duties such as data entry, document preparation, and proofreading to ensure accuracy.</li><li>Utilize Google Suite for creating and managing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.</li><li>Assist in organizing office operations and procedures to enhance productivity.</li><li>Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for staff members.</li><li>Support the administrative team with various tasks as needed.</li><li>Weighing and measuring vehicles, trucks, and other materials</li><li>Ensuring vehicles meet legal size and weight limits</li><li>Inspecting vehicles for compliance with safety laws</li><li>Issuing citations for violations</li><li>Maintaining records and generating tickets</li><li>Responding to public inquiries</li><li>Reporting road hazards and violations</li><li>Investigating complaints</li><li>Preparing reports</li><li>Operating and maintaining scales</li></ul>Additional duties<ul><li>Logging in and out of trucks, trailers, and field equipment</li><li>Preparing product receivers for incoming inventory</li><li>Answering phones</li><li>Managing and enforcing record retention</li><li>Enforcing company policies and procedures</li><li>Responding to requests from customers</li><li>Promoting teamwork</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar clerical role.</li><li>Proficiency in using computer systems and office software, particularly Google Suite.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining organization.</li><li>Familiarity with office equipment and phone systems is preferred.</li><li>A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes.</li></ul>If you are a motivated individual looking to contribute positively to our office environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
