</div></div><ul><li>Possess superb design taste, you heard right. It's the one thing we can't teach you.</li>
<li>Native understanding of how users interact with sites and the ability to design that journey.</li>
<li>Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in web design or digital media.</li>
<li>Strong portfolio showcasing website and creative UI design work.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and strong visual design skills (layout, typography, color theory).</li>
<li>Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.</li>
<li>Understanding of web design principles, responsive design, and user-centered design.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (not required to code, but must understand limitations and possibilities).</li>
<li>Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools and processes.</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate with developers, marketers, and project managers.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, able to present work to clients and explain design reason and purpose.</li>
<li>Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Webflow, with Shopify being a plus.</li>
<li>Understanding of SEO principles related to web design is a bonus.</li></ul>
