<div><div><div><div>In support of the U.S. Navy&rsquo;s PEO IWS-X initiative, the Principal/Lead Security Engineer serves as the subject matter expert for Anti-Tamper (AT) and system security integration, providing technical leadership and strategic direction for implementing security measures to protect Critical Program Information (CPI).</div><div></div><div>
The role develops and implements AT strategies and Program Protection Plans (PPPs), oversees security measures throughout the system lifecycle, and ensures compliance with export control regulations.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Develop and implement comprehensive Anti-Tamper (AT) and Program Protection Plans (PPPs) to safeguard CPI.</li><li>
Conduct threat modeling and attack/countermeasure analyses to assess security risks.</li><li>
Lead AT implementation across design, integration, and test phases.</li><li>
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure CPI protection aligns with program goals and export control regulations.</li><li>
Lead the development of security classification guides and technical documentation related to AT.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, liberal arts, or related field; master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>
A certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required.</li><li>
Must have the applicable 8570 / 8140 requirements including certification for IAT Level III.</li><li>
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.</li><li>
Must be able to commute to the Dahlgren, VA area on a daily basis.</li><li>
10+ years of experience in security engineering, with expertise in Anti-Tamper (AT) measures.</li><li>
Experience with threat modeling, attack/countermeasure analyses, and program protection.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Skills:</div><ul><li>
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a logical approach to security challenges.</li><li>
Expertise in hardware/software security and program protection.</li><li>
Familiarity with defense systems, export control regulations, and FMS compliance.</li><li>
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Background in systems engineering or software development is highly desirable.</li></ul></div></div><div></div><div>
