 Local Content Senior Specialist
 
 with specialized experience in container and multi-purpose port operations.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Purpose of the Job:
 
 
 
 The Local Content Specialist is responsible for implementing and monitoring local content programs and initiatives to maximize the utilization of local resources, materials, and workforce. The role includes identifying new local suppliers, improving the company&rsquo;s local content score, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve company targets and support national localization objectives.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Act as the Local Content (LC) leader within RSGT and affiliated companies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to local content policies and regulations in Saudi Arabia (e.g., PIF, Local Content &amp; Government Procurement Authority).
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrate LC initiatives into all procurement and contracting activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and submit compliance reports and Local Content Program implementation updates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate with relevant stakeholders in the annual baseline certificate issuance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent the company at relevant exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and shortlist existing or potential local suppliers for the Supplier Development Program (SDP), in alignment with Procurement and related stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct and manage technical evaluations related to local content within procurement bids to ensure compliance and suitability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and government bodies to promote LC initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and submit monthly reports highlighting the company&rsquo;s LC achievements and program progress.
 </li>

 Skills &amp; Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 5+ years of experience in local content management within the maritime sector or an equivalent industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stakeholder Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Local Content.
 </li>
 <li>
 Vendor Management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Local market knowledge.
 </li>
 <li>
 Translation and localization.
 </li>
 <li>
 LC Spend Monitoring.
