POSITION SUMMARYThe Sales and Design consultant will be responsible for following up on leads who engage in Redwood Cabinets Chicago products and convert them into customers, by creating the design in the 2020 design software. Duties will include reaching out to current and potential clients to increase showroom appointments, calling warm leads, qualifying, and designing. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have design experience, an understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and demonstrate superb interpersonal skills.Responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinet designs for various spaces, such as kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and other residential or commercial areasABOUT REDWOOD CABINETS CHICAGOOur mission is to transform dreams and ideas into reality, we create our client's dreamed kitchens that will bring joy to their homes for years. Our core values are the backbone of our business and guide our hiring process: We are accountable, responsible, aligned, and results-oriented, we impact and take ownership.OBJECTIVES<ul><li>Meet with a minimum of one client per day to design their cabinets and countertops</li><li>Assist customers in selecting the right cabinet color and design for their needs and preferences</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations, explain features and benefits to customers</li><li>Manage the pipeline of prospects using company CRM and perform daily review of leads and lead sources</li><li>Perform daily follow-up with the existing customer and complete 100% of your to-do list for the day</li><li>Manage customer accounts and ensure timely delivery of products</li><li>Collaborate with the team members to meet sales targets and achieve company goals</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment</li><li>Stay up-to-date on the latest cabinet trends and product knowledge</li><li>Keep good communication with all departments.</li><li>Interact with customers that come into the store.</li><li>Team up with co-workers to make excellent, proper customer service.</li></ul>COMPETENCIES<ul><li>Knowledge of basic sales principles report building, negotiations, offers, overcoming objections, and closing.</li><li>Ability to meet or exceed sales quota of one appointment per day</li><li>Ability to leverage CRM software and be accurate in taking notes on clients</li><li>Comfortable with consistent follow-up and ability to get creative when reaching out to clients (i.e. video messages, gifts&hellip;etc)</li><li>Knowledgeable of the Product and Pricing guide and stay up to date with any changes</li></ul>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE<ul><li>GED or high school diploma preferred</li><li>At least 2-5 years of work experience in a sales-specific role with a long cycle transaction, and organizational development.</li><li>Remodeling/ Construction experience is a plus.</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li></ul>COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITYAs an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, Redwood Cabinets Chicago recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
