Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.Duties<ul><li>Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.</li><li>Provide recommendations for food and wine pairings, upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.</li><li>Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.</li><li>Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently.</li><li>Assist with training new staff members in serving techniques and restaurant protocols as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.</li><li>Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.</li><li>Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.</li><li>Experience in guest relations, hospitality, or as a host/host is beneficial.
