Job Summary: The HRIS &amp; Benefits Intern will support the Human Resources team, with a focus on HRIS operations and benefits administration within Paycor. This role provides hands-on experience in HR systems implementation, compliance tracking, benefits auditing, and payroll-related processes. The intern will work closely under the supervision of the Director of Benefits, Compensation, &amp; Compliance to assist in improving processes, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting company-wide compliance efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career professional interested in HR systems, benefits administration, compliance, and process improvement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in the implementation of new HR processes and services within Paycor</li><li>Support configuration updates, testing, and documentation of new workflows</li><li>Help maintain data integrity through regular system audits and updates</li><li>Document standard operating procedures related to HRIS functions</li><li>Assist in high-level audits of existing insurance and benefit plans</li><li>Support reconciliation of enrollment data and carrier information</li><li>Help track and update outstanding compliance-related items in Paycor</li><li>Maintain organized documentation for benefit plans and compliance records</li><li>Update and monitor compliance tasks within Paycor to support regulatory adherence</li><li>Assist with processing and tracking store-level garnishments</li><li>Help ensure accurate recordkeeping for payroll-related adjustments</li><li>Assist with special projects related to HR systems and benefits</li><li>Provide administrative support to the Director of Benefits, Compensation &amp; Compliance, as assigned</li><li>Complete projects and other assigned duties by the Vice President of People &amp; Culture and/or the Director of Benefits, Compensation &amp; Compliance.</li><li>Adhere to the Company&rsquo;s established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.</li><li>This description reflects management&rsquo;s assignment of essential functions: it does not prescribe all tasks that may be assigned.
</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: An ideal candidate will have experience with or understanding of:
<ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li></ul>
Education and Experience: An ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:<ul><li>Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field</li></ul>
Working environment and physical requirements:
<ul><li>Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
</li><li>Must be able to remain stationary.
</li></ul>Travel:
<ul><li>Must be able to travel up to 20%.</li></ul>
