We are looking to add more behavior intervention staff. Behavior intervention staff work in the home and community with children between the ages of 3-21. Our staff assist children with their individual goals that include: activities of daily living, communicating, problem solving, decreasing maladaptive behaviors, self- regulating, etc. We are intentional to match our employees with clients to ensure there is a good fit for both the employee and the family.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Respect participants&rsquo; rights and dignity.</li><li>Show up for scheduled sessions.</li><li>Implement interventions according to the behavior intervention plans</li><li>Collect and maintain accurate data collection and session notes.</li><li>Submit data and session notes on time</li><li>Communicate with team members about participants&rsquo; progress and needs.</li><li>Communicate with supervisor if any additional materials or support is needed (Supervisor will be checking in often but open communication is important to us).</li><li>Attend and participate in mandatory team meetings and (monthly) trainings</li><li>Maintain professional boundaries with participants and families</li></ul>Minimum qualifications:&middot; Pass a criminal background check&middot; 1,040 hrs of supervised documented experience working with individuals aged 0-21 with developmental disabilities.&middot; Have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (if degree is not in Human services, then needs to show 24 credits in human service courses, need transcript)The following Bachelor degree are considered to be a Human Services degree: Human Service, Family Relations/Family and Child Services, Counseling, Nursing, Sociology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Education/Special Education, Child Development/Human Development, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Sciences/ABA.-Recent RBT certificate or willingness to take the course.&middot; Active CPR &amp; First aid training (or be willing to take the course). Reliable transportation and Drivers LicensePay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourWork Location: In person
