<div>Overview:

Assemble, install, or repair HVAC equipment per specifications and manufacturer&rsquo;s recommendations.

High Level Job Functions:
<ul><li>
Installation of all types of HVAC equipment, piping, control wiring, thermostats, motors, control boards, etc..</li><li>
Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.</li><li>
Review blueprints, submittals, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures.</li><li>
Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools.</li><li>
Anchor steel supports from ceiling joists to hold pipes and equipment in place.</li><li>
Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of HVAC systems or components.</li><li>
Material, tool, and equipment ordering, receiving, and returning</li></ul> 


Required 2 years of experience in HVAC installations 


Detailed Job Functions:
<ul><li>
Understanding of drain and lineset connection requirements</li><li>
Cut, bend, or thread pipe for gas, air, or water lines</li><li>
Move or fit heavy objects</li><li>
Understand construction specifications</li><li>
Assemble and install pipe sections, fittings, and HVAC equipment</li><li>
Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand</li><li>
Pressure test piping system or equipment for leaks</li><li>
Adhere to safety procedures</li><li>
Perform safety inspections in construction or resource extraction setting</li><li>
Maintain or repair work tools or equipment</li><li>
Braze or Solder copper tubing or components together</li><li>
Use hand or power tools</li><li>
Use pressure gauges</li><li>
Use oral or written communication techniques</li><li>
Determine installation, service, or repair needed</li><li>
Determine material or tool requirements</li></ul>
