Job Duties
<ul><li>Some of the below Job Duties may not be applicable to the Stylist-in-Training position.</li></ul><ul><li>
Provide quality services by consulting with clients and applying the appropriate service techniques.</li><li>
Recommend and participate in all approved local marketing initiatives including depth and frequency of coupon campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and client appreciation events.</li><li>
Educate clients about proper home hair care and recommend services and products to help the client maintain their hairstyle between salon visits.</li><li>
Employ best practices for customer service, ensuring each client&rsquo;s satisfaction and building client loyalty.</li><li>
Provide quality consultations with each client, including stating the final price before the service begins.</li><li>
Complete all required administrative tasks (i.e., closing out a ticket on the POS system and scheduling appointments) promptly.</li><li>
Communicate effectively and positively with all clients, team members, leaders, and the corporate support team.</li><li>
Meet or exceeds productivity standards set by Regis.</li><li>
Being willing and able to perform all services offered at the salon.</li><li>
Maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts to fit the needs of the business, including potential night and weekend shifts.</li><li>
Attend all required technical training sessions.</li><li>
Follow Regis policies as defined in the Handbook and salon specific operational procedures (including but not limited to bank deposits/runs, salon cleaning/maintenance, and disinfecting styling implements).</li></ul> 
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)<ul><li>
Work as a team-player and/or independently.</li><li>
Market yourself in the community and salon to increase your clientele.</li><li>
Possess exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Exhibit consistent and excellent customer service skills.</li><li>
Multi-task efficiently to complete salon duties.</li><li>
Show a willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with hair trends.</li><li>
The physical requirements of the position may require bending, sitting, twisting, turning, lifting (generally 10-15 pounds), and/or standing for extended periods of time.</li></ul> 
Experience<ul><li>
Stylist-in-Training &ndash; Graduated 90 days or less away from graduating from cosmetology school.</li><li>
Stylist &ndash; possession of a valid, current cosmetology or barber&rsquo;s license.</li></ul> 
Education
<ul><li>Must maintain a valid cosmetology or barber&rsquo;s license (or 90 days or less from graduating).</li><li>
All Stylists/Stylists-in-Training are required to complete assigned training as determined by Regis.</li><li><ul><li>All Supercuts (SC) Stylists/Stylists-in-Training must participate in the Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) program and receive a certificate of completion.</li></ul></li></ul> 
Work Location<ul><li>
The Stylist role is based at Regis (Supercuts, Holiday Hair, or Cost Cutters) salon location.</li></ul>
