About the Role
We&rsquo;re looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Rehrig Pacific Company. In this role, you&rsquo;ll manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our cutting-edge Direct-to-Store Delivery (DSD) and Supply Chain Technology solutions, including our Vision Object Recognition (VOR) Ecosystem and Material Handling Solutions.
You&rsquo;ll serve as the face of Rehrig Pacific in the field, providing exceptional on-site service and support to our customers, while collaborating closely with our Quality, Procurement, and New Product Development teams to drive continuous improvement.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
Onsite Customer Support
<ul><li>Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on assigned equipment.
</li><li>Support customer fleet check-ins and warranty service requests.
</li><li>Deliver exceptional, professional customer service at every interaction.
</li><li>Assist with VOR installations and technology implementations.
</li><li>Partner with the Implementation &amp; Service Team on retrofit or replacement projects.
</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration
<ul><li>Complete service reports and documentation for billing and warranty processes.
</li><li>Maintain safety stock inventory and coordinate replenishment with the purchasing team.
</li><li>Provide field insights and feedback to help improve product performance and installation processes.
</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Bring
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
</li><li>5+ years of experience as a Material Handling Field Service Technician (preferred).
</li><li>Solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics.
</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
</li><li>Proven ability to learn new products quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
</li><li>Strong accountability and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple projects at once.
</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel approximately 70% of the time (company vehicle provided).
