Position Overview
The Executive Vice President of Sales is RPI's global commercial leader and a key member of the executive team. This role owns the revenue strategy across Enterprise, Private Label, eCommerce Partnerships, and the Blurb Creator Platform. You will build unified sales systems, expand into new markets, strengthen partnerships, and lead a high-performing commercial organization through a period of meaningful transformation. 
 
This position is ideal for a hands-on, strategic executive who loves building teams, building systems, building markets, and building long-term partnerships. The right leader will elevate how we go to market, expand into new verticals, strengthen our relationships across the publishing, creative, and ecommerce ecosystems, and set the commercial foundations for RPI's next stage of growth, leading with humility and in alignment with our core values.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement global sales strategies across all business units, integrating print and digital channels. 
</li><li>
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new markets, verticals, and partnership opportunities; and in partnership with the US and EU sales teams, drive geographic expansion in North America and Europe. 
</li><li>
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align sales efforts with company goals and ensure strong product market fit. 
</li><li>
Team Leadership: Hire, lead, mentor and scale a high-performing sales organization; establish clear metrics and compensation structures. 
</li><li>
CustomerPartner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, publishers, partners, and creative communities; represent RPI at industry events. 
</li><li>
Revenue Optimization: Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, pricing strategy, and revenue reporting; implement CRM and sales automation tools for data-driven decisions. 
</li><li>
Strategic Advisory: Advise the CEO and Board on growth strategy, market trends, commercial risks, and execution.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.</li><li>
15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience with P&amp;L responsibility, in print manufacturing, eCommerce, digital platform, content/publishing, or other technology-enabled environments.
</li><li>Proven success driving multi-channel revenue growth across enterprise, SMB, and consumer markets.</li><li>
Strong expertise in strategic partnerships, contract negotiation, and data-informed sales execution.</li><li>
Demonstrated leadership of distributed, matrixed and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.</li><li>
Deep familiarity with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and technology-enabled selling.</li><li>
Outstanding communication, influence, and executive presence.</li><li>
Passion for leading with integrity, curiosity, continuous improvement, and commitment to excellence.</li></ul>
