Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our facial plastic surgery practice. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical office experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and facilitate patient intake processes efficiently</li><li>Schedule appointments using our EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system</li><li>Verify insurance benefits and perform insurance authorization and verification</li><li>Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, handling inquiries and appointment requests promptly</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations</li><li>Assist with billing processes including medical coding (CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10), medical collection efforts, and Medicare claims submission</li><li>Coordinate with clinical staff to prepare care plans and ensure proper documentation review for each patient visit</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in medical reception, office management, or administrative support within a healthcare setting</li><li>Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical billing procedures</li><li>Familiarity with health information management standards including HIPAA compliance and documentation review processes</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced office setting</li></ul>Pay: From $20.00 per hourWork Location: In person
