We are looking for a motivated and ambitious final year undergraduate student to join our product team for a paid Product Management Internship. This is for the Fall semester but may continue into the Spring semester. High performing Relayers hired as Launchpad Interns will receive consideration for potential full-time roles after graduation, depending on the needs of the business.

Job Overview:</h3>

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to a high growth product environment, and launch your career in product management. You'll work closely with our experienced product team, contributing to the development and strategy of our key products. This is not just an internship; you'll have real responsibilities and deliver impact as an integral part of our product development cycle.

You'll collaborate closely with our engineering teams across both customer-facing products and internal-facing systems crucial for our Operations and Sales Teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to both product discovery and product delivery.

The internship will be based in our Raleigh, NC headquarters and is in office. We will work around your class schedule, but candidates are expected to be in office at least 2x per week and a minimum of 10 hours per week. Only local students in the area will be considered for this internship.

What you will do:</h3>

Core Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Support the Product Management Team on key initiatives and projects, contributing to the overall product strategy and roadmap.</li>
<li>Contribute to the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and research through development, launch, and post-launch analysis.</li>
<li>Explore and integrate AI capabilities: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML to enhance product features, derive deeper customer insights, and optimize product management workflows.</li>
</ul>
Product Discovery
<ul>
<li>Participate in customer visits and calls to observe and learn how we identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.</li>
<li>Consistently review analytics to identify areas of opportunity, understand user behavior, and inform product improvements.</li>
<li>Assist in documenting, analyzing, and prioritizing feedback from internal customer-facing teams.</li>
<li>Conduct solution discovery, trialing new products and features directly with customers to gather insights and validate solutions.</li>
</ul>
Product Delivery
<ul>
<li>Collaborate closely with Engineering and QA to design viable and usable products and ensure timely delivery of features.</li>
<li>Assist in defining product requirements and user stories for both new features and enhancements.</li>
<li>Participate in sprint planning and stand-ups, ensuring product goals are clearly communicated and understood by development teams.</li>
<li>Assist in driving product adoption and training by contributing to Release Notes and aligning with Operations and Sales teams</li>

<ul><li>Final year student at a local university pursuing a Bachelor's degree.</li>
<li>Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related technical or business field with a GPA of 3.5 or above.</li>
<li>A strong blend of business and technical acumen, with the ability to engage meaningfully and add value in discussions encompassing both technology and business strategy.</li>
<li>Curiosity about emerging technologies: A keen interest in staying abreast of cutting-edge technologies, particularly within the AI and real-time data space, and identifying how they can create new value for users.</li>
<li>A passion for entrepreneurship with the ability to thrive and react proactively to changing business needs within a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.</li>

This role offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into the technical pre-sales process, working closely with our Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to design and demonstrate solutions for prospective clients. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, engaging with customers, understanding their technical needs, and showcasing the value of Relay and our AI-powered platform.

<li>Customer Engagement: Participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, and technical workshops to gather requirements, address technical questions, and provide insights into our platform's capabilities.</li>
<li>Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation, including solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and integration guides to support the sales process.</li>
<li>Integration and Testing: Assist in configuring and testing customizations in the Relay platform solving customer challenges with Relay.</li>
<li>Product Feedback: Act as a bridge between customers and the Product team, providing feedback on customer needs and pain points to influence product development.</li>
<li>Learning and Development: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, our platform's features, and emerging technologies in PTT, SaaS, and AI to enhance your technical expertise.</li></ul> 


Product Solutions
<ul>
<li>Participate in customer visits and calls to observe and learn how we identify opportunities for value creation and solutioning.</li>
<li>Review pilot data to identify areas of opportunity, understand user behavior, and inform sales engagements.</li>
<li>Build POCs to solve customer problems and demonstrate the capabilities of the Relay platform in a variety of environments.</li>
<li>Prototype AI driven solutions to enable take advantage of Relay's AI capabilities.</li>
