</p><p></p><p><b>The Role
</b></p><p>The Composite Machining Trainee role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in high precision composite manufacturing within Formula One.
</p><p>Working alongside experienced machinists and team leaders, you will be trained in the machining of composite components. Through structured on-the-job learning, you&rsquo;ll develop the technical skills, attention to detail, and professional behaviours required to progress into a fully competent composite machinist role.
</p><p>This is a practical, shop‑floor based role in a fast paced, performance‑driven environment where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are essential.
</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities
</b></p><ul><li>Learn and assist in composite machining and trimming operations under supervision
</li><li>Support CNC machining composite components to specification
</li><li>Prepare, load, and unload parts, fixtures, and tooling safely and accurately
</li><li>Follow technical drawings, route cards, and work instructions precisely
</li><li>Carry out basic measurement and inspection checks to ensure quality standards are met
</li><li>Identify and report quality concerns or non-conformance's in line with procedures
</li><li>Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and cleanliness
</li><li>Work collaboratively with laminating, trim &amp; assembly, quality, and engineering teams
</li><li>Actively engage in training, feedback, and development activities
</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who We&rsquo;re Looking For
</b></p><p>We&rsquo;re looking for someone with a genuine interest in engineering, machining, or composite manufacturing, who is motivated to learn and develop in a high-performance environment.
</p><p>You&rsquo;ll ideally bring:
</p><ul><li>A strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
</li><li>A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
</li><li>The ability to follow instructions and work methodically
</li><li>Good teamwork and communication skills
</li><li>Basic numeracy and problem-solving ability
</li><li>A commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
</li><li>Eligibility to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role)
</li></ul><p></p><p>No prior Formula One experience is required &mdash; what matters most is your attitude, reliability, and desire to develop.
