Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Reviews patient intake information for accuracy; obtains clarity/makes corrections as needed.</li>
<li>In accordance with established guidelines, prepares patients for ophthalmology examination by checking pretests are done by Associate, dilating pupils, changes in visual acuity, elevated extraocular pressure, etc., communicates results to Attending Physician.</li>
<li>Prepares and assembles all pertinent reports/tests for physicians.</li>
<li>Answers patient questions of varying complexity without providing medical advice.</li>
<li>Prepares and assists physician with examination, minor surgeries and procedures within scope of practice.</li>
<li>Assists with checking expiration of medications and supplies and follow-up as appropriate and in accordance with established guidelines and policies.</li>
<li>Assists doctors with charting, may transcribes results into our EHR (electronic health record) as physician(s) orally dictate during patient exam; transcribes results in an accurate and detailed completion.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent, an associate or bachelor's degree preferred</li>
<li>Formal education in Optometry or Ophthalmology is preferred but not required</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year of practical experience as an Ophthalmic Technician</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in medical terminology</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in EMR systems, proficiency in MDLand is a plus</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to multi-task</li>
<li>Customer service orientation</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li>
<li>Bilingual English and Cantonese is required, Mandarin a plus</li>

Job Overview:

The Patient and Employee Safety Clinical Coordinator serves as a pivotal coordinator within the department. This role is instrumental is driving key initiatives in process optimization, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

 Essential Functions:

Qualifications

<li>Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads by leveraging multiple systems, including EMR platforms and internal portals, with speed and accuracy</li>
<li>Excellent teamwork abilities and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Maintain a professional, empathetic, and courteous demeanor</li>
<li>Proven ability to communicate effectively and organize complex workflows in a team environment</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy</li>

A Medical Scribe is responsible for relieving a physician of their clerical duties, thereby allowing a physician to focus their attention on providing the best care to the patient. They are responsible for locating and obtaining a patient's medical history, documenting dictated notes during a patient visit on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), facilitating diagnostic test, all while providing unparalleled customer service to our patients.
Essential Functions

Job Overview:

Medical Assistants are an integral part of delivering kind and compassionate care and optimizing patient experience. They direct patient flow in and out of exam rooms and provide support to providers by assisting in medical procedures and examinations.

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Work alongside providers in the exam room to provide care.</li>
<li>Measure and record vital signs, height, and weight for patients.</li>
<li>Obtain chief complaint and gather medical history information from patient prior to being seen by provider.</li>
<li>Perform basic clinical duties and procedures, including, but not limited to, blood draws, vital signs, preparing vaccines, recording EKGs, glucose monitoring, collecting urine samples, influenza testing, pregnancy tests, vision/hearing tests, etc.</li>
<li>Prepare exam room for patient visit ensuring that medical supplies are well stocked.</li>
<li>Clean and sterilize instruments.</li>
<li>Perform duties to help improve quality measures which may include identifying care gaps, calling patients for follow up, documentation, etc.</li>
<li>Help maintain clinic compliance &amp; protocols, such as freezer setting, biohazards, sharps, cleaning, infection protocols, etc.</li>
<li>Other related duties as assigned by office manager.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bilingual in English and Chinese required.</li>
<li>Phlebotomist certification preferred.</li>
<li>High level of professionalism and strong sense of responsibility.</li>
<li>Good communication skills: kind, compassionate, patient interaction with patients and team</li>
<li>Multitasking ability.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li>
<li>Prior experience working in medical/clinical setting preferred.</li>
