Job Overview:

As a Senior Data Engineer at Rendr, you will play a strategic role in leveraging complex healthcare data to drive key operational, clinical, and financial initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of healthcare datasets, and the ability to guide and mentor junior analysts. You will collaborate with executive leadership, clinical teams, and IT to shape data strategy and optimize healthcare delivery across the organization.

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Lead complex data analyses to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across clinical and operational workflows.</li>
<li>Design and maintain advanced dashboards, predictive models, and business intelligence tools to support executive decision-making.</li>
<li>Partner with senior leadership to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions.</li>
<li> Conduct rigorous data validation to ensure high-quality, reliable reporting.</li>
<li> Mentor and support junior analysts in methodology, data literacy, and technical development.</li>
<li> Influence data governance and participate in shaping the organization&rsquo;s data infrastructure strategy.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, Computer Science).</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in a healthcare analytics role, ideally within a health plan, care delivery organization, or payer setting.</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python, R, or SAS is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of healthcare claims, EHR data, quality measures (e.g., HEDIS), and risk adjustment models.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience leading data analytics projects or managing cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Understanding of value-based care models and population health analytics.</li>
<li>Exposure to cloud-based data environments (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).</li>

A Medical Scribe is responsible for relieving a physician of their clerical duties, thereby allowing a physician to focus their attention on providing the best care to the patient. They are responsible for locating and obtaining a patient's medical history, documenting dictated notes during a patient visit on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), facilitating diagnostic test, all while providing unparalleled customer service to our patients.
Essential Functions
<ul><li>Being able to manage multiple patients per hour.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain quick pace in fast paced medical office facility for duration of scheduled shift.</li>
<li>Providing compassionate care to our patients.</li>
<li>Assisting the physician with basic patient care and clerical duties (includes: locate and obtaining patient's medical history, documenting notes during a patient visit on the EMR system, and facilitating diagnostic test.</li>
<li>Communicating with patients, pharmacies, and physicians over the phone under physician guidance.</li>
<li>Helping maintain a clean, courteous, and professional working environment.</li>
<li>Assist with training and acclimation of new hire scribes.</li>
<li>Other related duties as assigned by office managers.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul><li>A High School Degree or equivalent preferred.</li>
<li>Bilingual in English and Chinese required.</li>
<li>Computer and typing skills are required - minimum of 45 wpm.</li>
<li>Passion for helping others.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>High attention to detail and being able to work in a team environment.</li>
