Position: Senior Ruby on Rails DeveloperLocation: LahoreJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with a solid background in software development, preferably within the automotive or insurance industries. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Ruby on Rails and have hands-on experience with Active Admin and Turbo [Hotwire]. You will play a crucial role in developing scalable, high-performance applications and providing technical leadership within our growing tech team.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software using Ruby on Rails.</li><li>Collaborate with product and design teams to define and implement user-centric solutions.</li><li>Ensure high code quality and maintainability by writing automated tests and performing regular code reviews.</li><li>Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.</li><li>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers on the team.</li><li>Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend best practices for software development.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s / Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, with a strong understanding of Rails framework principles.</li><li>Experience in the automotive or insurance industry is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), RESTful services, and API integration.</li><li>Proficient in front-end technologies, i.e. JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.</li><li>Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.</li><li>Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile development practices.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.</li></ul>Preffered Skills:<ul><li>Experience with Active Admin and Hotwire.</li><li>Experience with mobile development (iOS/Android) and related frameworks.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or OCI, or Alibaba Cloud.</li><li>Knowledge of DevOps practices and containerization (Kamal / Docker / Kubernetes).</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExperience:<ul><li>ROR: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
