The Senior Manager, Digital Development plays a critical role in the analysis, design, development, maintenance, operation and continued improvement of the portfolio of customer facing applications for Web and Mobile. The Senior Manager, Digital Development manages the staff that maintains and enhances our external digital presence, in the form of responsive websites and mobile applications, which directly impact our ability to provide a world-class customer experience. The Senior Manager, Digital Development also directly participates in defining solutions for difficult business problems with various stakeholder groups. This position also supports major development projects and provides key input regarding decisions around system reliability, staffing needs, and long term total cost of ownership to support ongoing improvements to our technology portfolio due to the dynamic needs of our customers and our business. The Senior Manager, Digital Development is also responsible for improving our current support model and focusing on making our customer applications more resilient.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Provides strategic direction for all relevant technology efforts.</li><li>
Manages competing priorities, workloads and activities to achieve multiple project objectives that meet end-user requirements.</li><li>
Develops and maintains strong working relationships and partnerships with key business stakeholders.</li><li>
Actively manages the evolution of Digital Content Management Development as well as the Web and Mobile CMS components.</li><li>
Stays current on software development techniques and recommends improvements in support of application development efforts.</li><li>
Oversees and participates in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).</li><li>
Plans and manages budgets, forecasts, projects and associated staffing requirements.</li><li>
Ensures that service delivery meets agreed-to service levels. Diagnoses service delivery problems to identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of service.</li><li>
Develops strong relationships with key vendors providing components of the department's services.</li><li>
Responsible for the hiring, promotion, associate performance evaluation, training, motivation, counseling, and discipline of employees.</li><li>

QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Experience maintaining a budget for systems, vendors, and departments.</li><li>
Experience with ecommerce platform development, Analytics, SEO and Content Management System.</li><li>
Experience development of Sharepoint, Customer service applications and mobile applications.</li><li>
Experience leading highly complex projects utilizing generally accepted project management principles.</li></ul>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>

Senior Manager Digital Development

<div>POSITION SUMMARY:Republic Services&rsquo; internship program is designed to provide an opportunity to learn about our Company and various aspects of our industry and business. The Intern will gain valuable business experience by holding a position within a functional area (department) and by executing a project or series of tasks that improves or is related the function related to their courses of study or desired career paths. For example, the Intern will be responsible for completing specific tasks such as analyzing functional processes, identifying opportunities for improvement or growth, gathering and analyzing data, investigating and helping to resolve any data discrepancies, and/or preparing communications. Engineering Intern

<div>POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Driver &ndash; CDL (B) is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the Company&rsquo;s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports (&ldquo;VCRs&rdquo;) on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.</li><li>
Safely operate his or her heavy truck along his or her designated route and to the disposal site; read route sheet, follow map and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.</li><li>
Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.</li><li>
Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>
Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers in accordance with applicable departmental procedures.</li><li>
Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste.</li><li>
Clean area around an accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies.</li><li>
Continuously monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean waste from the packer blade and truck body (where appropriate) on each disposal trip.</li><li>
Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports, as required.</li><li>
Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>
Follow all required safety policies and procedures.</li><li>
Actively participate in the Company&rsquo;s ReSOP program.</li><li>
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li><li>

Driver - CDL (B)

<div>POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of EHS Programs &amp; Training is a strategic leader responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and training initiatives at Republic Services. The incumbent drives consistency, innovation, and measurable impact across the organization by fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing operational excellence. The Director of EHS Programs &amp; Training collaborates cross-functionally with operations leadership, HR, safety champions, and field staff to ensure seamless program execution.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Shape and implement EHS strategies that align with the corporate values, vision, and sustainability goals. Lead the EHS team and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.</li><li>
Monitors and translates federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT) to ensure policy compliance and develop actionable training and controls. Maintain documentation and training records to support audits and compliance.</li><li>
Design, standardize, and implement scalable, risk-based EHS programs that align with operational and regulatory requirements, covering key areas such as safety, compliance, risk, hazardous materials, and emergency response. <div>POSITION SUMMARY:
At Republic Services, Technicians play a critical role in maintaining the performance and quality of our fleet. A Technician performs routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The Technician Apprenticeship program will train an entry level technician over a two-year period in the following:<ul><li>
Electrical diagnosis of starting &amp; charging systems.</li><li>
Air conditioning &amp; heating component identification &amp; inspection.</li><li>
Wheel end assembly component identification &amp; inspection.</li><li>
Air system component identification &amp; inspection.</li><li>
Air brakes component identification &amp; inspection.</li><li>
Hydraulics component identification and inspection.</li><li>
Truck preventative maintenance.</li></ul>

THE TECHNICAN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
The Republic Services Technician Apprenticeship program has opportunities available across the United States for a Technician Apprentice to join the team in one of our 180 business units. This outstanding career opportunity was created for aspiring Technicians to earn while they learn!
THE APPRENTICE TRAINING EXPERIENCE
Republic Services Technical Institute offers a unique learning and development environment in which employees will gain on-the-job work experience while completing their technician education.
Over the two (2) years of your apprenticeship, your training will start with nine (9) weeks of company-paid training at our brand-new state-of-the-art Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, Texas.
Successful graduates of the training program will continue with an additional twenty-two (22) months of on-the-job training (OJT) that includes mentorship and virtual instructor led technical content while working towards Apprentice certification as a Republic Services entry level Diesel Mechanic.
We recognize that individuals may come with different levels of existing technical competencies and may advance through the program at a different pace. As such, individuals who demonstrate accelerated development and achieve the required milestones can move to a Level C Technician in advance of the twenty-two (22) month requirements.
In addition to acquiring cutting-edge technical skills, the Technical Institute will teach critical life and leadership skills while building strong professional networks across the Company to set you up for a long-term career at Republic. Through participation in this innovative program, apprentice employees will be supported by your dedicated Mentor who will help you to reach the milestones needed to successfully complete your apprenticeship journey to move to a Level C Technician within the Company.
Upon placement in one of our business units nationwide, you will receive direct supervision from a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor or Manager and through completion of the Republic Preventative Maintenance Program and other on-the-job work completed during the apprenticeship, the apprentice receives hands-on experience that supports what they are learning in school. This includes the basic skills necessary to perform routine preventive maintenance, including basic tire work, wheel end components, mechanic skills, knowledge of hydraulics and knowledge of electrical systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
We will provide the technical training you need to succeed in your apprenticeship. In return you need to be committed to completing this two-year program.
Our ideal Technician Apprentice will be a logical problem solver with an interest in engineering and technology.<ul><li>
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights/weekends or holidays.</li><li>
Willingness to uphold the values and expectations at Republic Services, including safety, ethics, and respect.</li><li>
Must be willing to travel to &amp; live in Dallas, Texas for 9 weeks of in-person training.</li><li>
Upon successful completion of the program, candidate must be willing to relocate to the assigned location throughout the United States.</li></ul>

SUSTAINABILITY INNOVATION

The Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation&rsquo;s first integrated plastics recycling facility. This innovative site processes rigid plastics from our recycling centers, producing recycled materials that promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We are building a network of Polymer Centers and Blue Polymer facilities across North America.
We continue to advance decarbonization at our landfills. As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we have 70 landfill gas-to-energy projects in operation and plan to expand our portfolio to 115 projects by 2028.
