Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization&rsquo;s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.</li><li>
Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.</li><li>
Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.</li><li>
Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.</li><li>
Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
</li><li>Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.</li><li>
Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.</li><li>
Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.</li></ul>
What qualifications you will need:<ul><li>
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date</li><li>

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Behavior Health Quality Manager(BHQ Mgr.) at Research Psychiatric Center ensures high quality, patient-centered care by facilitating the daily operations of the Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s)and Performance Improvement programs at Research Psychiatric Center.
This role will manage all aspects of quality and risk with supervision and collaboration with the Research Medical Center ( RMC) Quality Team and Research Psychiatric Center(RPC) Senior Leadership Team.
The BHQ Mgr. is accountable to facilitate performance improvement activities including actions taken to drive improvement and the results of those actions.
The BHQ Mgr is responsible for maintaining Joint Commission Standards and CMS conditions of participation in collaboration with RMC VP of Quality and RPC Senior Leadership team.
This role collaborates with the RMC VP of Quality and RPC leadership to develop, revise, and implement programs, initiatives, and improvement strategies, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements.
The BHQ Mgr. provides leadership with data analysis, incident response, and staff education to advance patient safety and control and minimize risks at the facility.<h6 class="jobSectionHeader">
What qualifications you will need:</h6>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing or health-related field &ndash; Required
Master&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing or health-related field &ndash; Preferred
3+ years clinical experience in a healthcare setting &ndash; Required
2+ years experience in healthcare quality/risk management &ndash; Preferred
Currently licensed as a registered nurse or health professional in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. &ndash; Preferred
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) &ndash; Required &ndash; Grace Period - 3 years (Or CHCQM)
Certification in Healthcare Quality Management (CHCQM) &ndash; Required &ndash; Grace Period &ndash; 3 years (OR CPHQ)
Healthcare Accreditation Certification Program (HACP) &ndash; Preferred
CPI Certification &ndash; Required within 90 days
